I know it's been AGES and I don't think anyone reads this anymore... but still gonna update anyway!
Started playing...again. At this point I don't even remember when I stopped/ started/ stopped/ started/ stopped/ started again... I know I stopped last June-ish when I got my job, then started in October? and leveled up a couple jobs...then stopped...played again and leveled more...stopped... ok I'm stopping now, all you need to know is I am once again trapped in the addiction. The only problem really, other than you know, having a problem (lawl) was that I had no defined, semi-obtainable goals. I wanted to level, so I leveled - it got boring and tedious, plus I really didn't have the time to devote to partying at the time (would take like 4-5 hours to build chain/lights and ugh). I wanted to upgrade gear but it was frustrating and I wasn't geared well enough to solo anything, plus I had no knowledge of what was soloable anyway... but now leveling is much easier[read: not so time consuming] and a bunch of old Echo people came back so it's kind of fun again to talk to them...even though I feel left out most of the time :( But anyway...now I have a new semi-but-not-really-obtainable goal! Ukonvasara.
I was in a party on Sunday and got my WAR from 84 to 90 (woo! MNK still 89...lol) So while at work on Monday, I started looking at random Empy weapons and after waffling between the BLM blizzard staff, Ukon, and whatever the hell the MNK H2H is called, I decided to try Ukon!
Monday night I got all 3 Hoo Mjuu kills and headed to Daggerclaw Dracos before bed, joined up w/ a dude called Nauq and managed to get one kill while I was still there, then leeched one overnight from another WAR I had met in Giddeus, Jokerspeoples.
I rolled out of bed on Tuesday and went straight to the computer to kill PHs (I know, so addicted...) >< but it didn't pop...and I was late for work. Partied with another guy who rolled up on a chocobo as I was getting ready to leave (don't remember the name...think it was Greedthedon?) and leeched my last kill while I was at work. Woo, Dracos done. I was twitchy at work all day Tuesday thinking about NMs....and headed to Sea Serpent Grotto right after work and after AGES got all Namtar kills with Ripple and Jokerspeoples, then had some time to get to Gargantua before I should've gone to sleep....this part is a little blurry, lol, but I think I got 2 Gargantua before passing out, then leeched one overnight from Raevenx/Morpheus/Nitori/Mayabrea/others?... and killed my last in the morning on Wednesday.
After work Weds. I partied up with a bunch of people, random BLUs, NINs, and WARs (Cocoho, Haruse?, Ripple, Greedthedon, Nitori) and got 3 Megalo kills before I crashed, but they let me leech the last kill I needed while I was asleep. I was worried for a bit because for a while I was just with Cocoho/Haruse/Greed and I was the only one with /RNG and they didn't seem to know which one was PH to kill...but Ripple and Nitori joined a bit later and they both had widescan, so I was good to go for leeching. Yay for leeching! I'm turning into Tsola D:
Then this morning (Thursday) I left myself in Fort Karugo-Narugo to hopefully leech some Ratatoskr kills from Greedthedon (who I let leech 3-4 Megalo kills last night), Ivorykitty, and Oqw? Opq? Pqw? Oqm? idk, he was some random JP Galka with a short weird name that didn't make sense...
This is a really boring entry, I'm really just trying to remember all the names of people I've helped leech/leeched from so I know who to search for later since we're on the same path.... but I think I might've been spamming my trials a bit too hard...
Seeko/Kiddos/Crytone were farming Glav pops last night while I was at Megalo, and I need Glav shells....but so does Seeko for Twashtar...so I would feel bad lotting Glav shells since he was solo farming for ages before Kid/Cryt showed up... bleh. Maybe I can farm up a pop? or get Seeko to help me farm up a pop...which defeats the purpose but oh well! We'll see how it goes...
